Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

 The names and emails specified by users of this magazine site used to perform the internal technical tasks of this journal; they will not be distributed and transferred to third parties.

Privacy Policy

 If the publication concerns patients and participants in the study: patients have the right to privacy, which is not entitled to violate without informed consent. Surnames, names, initials, names of hospitals should not be published in written descriptions, photographs, if this information is not important for scientific purposes and the patient (relatives, guardian) gives written consent to the publication. The authors should inform these persons that the above information may be available through the Internet, as well as in printed form after publication. The consent of the patient must be recorded and transmitted to the editorial staff of the journal. The magazine requires that all authors receive written consent from the patient and be available for verification at least three years.

Manuscripts containing human-rights research should have a written informed consent notice in accordance with the recommendations of the ethical committees on biomedical research, the Helsinki Declaration of the World Medical Association on the ethical principles of conducting human medical research (1964-2008), the European Community Directive 86/609 concerning the participation of people in medical biology research, as well as the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Order № 690 dated September 23, 2009.

In the case of a manuscript containing research data on experimental animals, authors should indicate compliance with the provisions of the "European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Experiments and Other Scientific Purposes" (Strasbourg, 2005), "General Ethical Principles of Animal Experiments ", Adopted by the Fifth National Congress on Bioethics (Kyiv, 2013). The use of laboratory animals must conform to the standards established by the NIH Animal Care and Use Management (OACU ARAC guidelines).

The manuscript is considered with due respect to authors and confidentiality of reviewers. Editors do not disclose information about the manuscript (date of receipt, content, status in the process, declare the essence of critical remarks from reviewers, or final publication decision) to persons other than authors and reviewers. Therefore, reviewers and editors should respect the rights, do not publicly discuss the authors of the work, not assign their ideas until the publication of the manuscript. Reviewers are not authorized to make copies of manuscripts for their files.
