Aims and Scope

The aim of the publication is to provide a professional scientific platform for the disclosure and dissemination of fundamental and applied research results in the field of biological sciences. The journal fosters scientific communication between Ukrainian and international researchers and facilitates the integration of domestic research into the global scientific community. The Almanac is committed to providing open access to high-quality scientific information, contributing to social progress and the exchange of knowledge.

  • Ensuring High Publication Quality: Implementing rigorous standards of independent peer review and expert evaluation of manuscripts to maintain the academic standing of a professional publication (Category "B").

  • Supporting the Scientific Community: Creating opportunities to highlight the scientific achievements of established scholars while actively promoting the professional growth of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

  • Upholding Academic Integrity: Strict monitoring of ethical standards, prevention of plagiarism, data falsification, and redundant (duplicate) publication in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) recommendations.

  • Expanding Thematic Horizons: Promoting modern research in botany, zoology, human and animal physiology, immunology, microbiology, plant physiology, genetics, hydrobiology, and ecology.

  • Promoting Open Science: Implementing a policy of immediate open access to published content, which enhances the visibility and citation of authors' work.

Editorial Policy

The journal's editorial policy focuses on the prompt review of materials, maintaining transparency in the editorial process, and providing authors with the opportunity to publish their research results free of charge. The journal invites scientists working on current biological issues to collaborate and accepts original articles containing new, previously unpublished data.
